Vintage Handymans (Pty) Ltd aims to handle personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable South African data-protection requirements, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Information you provide

A quotation enquiry asks for your name, phone number, email address, project location, type of work and a description of the work. Company or farm name and preferred timing are optional. Site photographs can be sent separately by WhatsApp; this website does not provide a public file-upload facility.

Purpose of the enquiry

Your details are used to respond to the enquiry, assess project requirements, discuss or prepare a quotation and communicate about the requested service. Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing.

The website’s hosting and email service providers may process information as needed to operate the website and deliver messages. The website does not maintain a separate customer-account database or public register of enquiries.

Form security and essential storage

Using the form creates a session cookie to help validate a submission. Short-lived server records are used to limit repeated requests; these contain hashed identifiers and counters, not copies of your enquiry message. Hosting systems may keep access and security logs, which can include an IP address and technical request information.

The form supports Cloudflare Turnstile. When enabled, Cloudflare processes technical signals to check whether a submission is legitimate. Turnstile is not loaded on pages that do not use the form. See Cloudflare’s privacy information for its handling of that data.

Third-party communication

Telephone, email and WhatsApp links open the service you choose to use. Information sent through those services is also handled according to the relevant provider’s policies. No embedded map is used.

Analytics and advertising

This website build does not include advertising pixels, analytics trackers or marketing cookies. The privacy information should be reviewed before any such tools are added.

Retention and your choices

Business correspondence may be kept for the enquiry, quotation, service relationship and any applicable record-keeping obligations. You may contact the team to ask about information you have submitted, request correction, or discuss access or deletion subject to applicable requirements.
